چکیده
The activity and selectivity of Mo/ZSM-5, benchmarking catalyst for the non-oxidative dehydroaromatization methane, strongly depend on cluster size, spatial distribution, chemical environment Mo-based active sites. This study discloses use an ultrasound-assisted ion-exchange (US-IE) technique as alternative Mo/ZSM-5 synthesis procedure in order to promote metal dispersion along zeolite framework. For this purpose, a plate transducer (91.8 kHz) is employed transmit ultrasonic irradiation (US) into reactor. physico-chemical properties catalytic samples prepared under said traditional impregnation (IWI) method are critically evaluated. Characterization results suggest that US neither affects crystalline structure nor particle size parent zeolite. However, US-IE promotes molybdenum species dispersion, avoids clustering at external fresh surface enhances molybdate anchoring framework with respect IWI. Despite improved between catalysts synthesized by IWI comparable. suggests sole initial enhancement does not suffice boost productivity further actions such ZSM-5 support pre-conditioning required. Nevertheless, successful implementation resulting pave way toward application other dispersed materials interest.

Confined Carbon Mediating Dehydroaromatization of Methane over Mo/ZSM‐5
Non-oxidative dehydroaromatization of methane (MDA) is a promising catalytic process for direct valorization of natural gas to liquid hydrocarbons. The application of this reaction in practical technology is hindered by a lack of understanding about the mechanism and nature of the active sites in benchmark zeolite-based Mo/ZSM-5 catalysts, which precludes the solution of problems such as rapid ...
متن کاملNon-oxidative conversion of methane to aromatics over modified zeolite catalysts by transitional metals
The activity of different transitional metals over modified H-ZSM-5 catalysts for methane conversion to aromatics was compared. The first group of catalysts was Mo-impregnated H-ZSM-5 zeolites with 1, 3 and 6 wt% of Mo. The second group was M(3 wt%)- impregnated H-ZSM-5 (M: Ag, Cd, Cr, Mo, Zn and Mn). The catalytic activity of the first group was investigated at 600, 700 and 800 °C and gas hour...

Non-oxidative methane dehydroaromatization is a promising reaction to directly convert natural gas into aromatic hydrocarbons and hydrogen. Commercialization of this technology is hampered by rapid catalyst deactivation because of coking. A novel approach is presented involving selective oxidation of coke during methane dehydroaromatization at 700 °C. Periodic pulsing of oxygen into the methane...
متن کاملXylenes Reactions and Diffusions in ZSM-5 Zeolite based Catalyst
Xylenes transformations have been investigated over ZSM-5 zeolite in a riser simulator that mimics closely the operation of commercial fluidized-bed reactors. P-xylene was found to be more reactive than the other isomers followed by o-xylene and m-xylene was found to be least reactive. The order of reactivity is consistent with the order of diffusivity. At low temperature (400°C), isomerization...
